Meet Dr. Douglas Gellerman
Douglas Gellerman, M.D. graduated from Penn State University and then became Pennsylvania’s youngest medical doctor ever when he finished his doctorate at Jefferson Medical College at the age of 21.
He completed his Ophthalmology training at New York Medical College where he was honored as Chief Resident. Fellowship training in anterior segment eye surgery brought Dr. Gellerman to California, where he has been in private practice since 1981.
Before joining the Davidorf Eye Group, Dr. Gellerman was Chairman of Ophthalmology for the Friendly Hills and Mullikan medical groups, large group practices responsible for over 300,000 patients.
Eye surgeon Dr. Gellerman is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has a special interest in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and anterior segment disease.
